Follow the instructions on this page to modify the settings of a printer managed by Instant ID as a Service.
Edit a Printer
Follow these settings to modify the settings of a printer managed by Instant ID as a Service.
- If you need to edit the name or location,
on the Printer List page, click
next to the printer. The
Update Printer dialog box appears. - Modify the settings.
- Click Save.
Delete a Printer
Follow these steps to remove a printer from Instant ID as a Service management.
- To delete a printer, on the Printer
List page, click
next to the printer.
The Delete Printer dialog box appears. - Click Delete. A confirmation dialog box opens.
- Click Delete.
Open the Printer Dashboard
Use the Printer Dashboard to manage settings on the printer. The printer hosts the Printer Dashboard. To access the Printer Dashboard, ensure that the printer is powered on and connected to the internet.
View Printers
The Printer List page displays all of the printers managed by Instant ID as a Service. Follow these steps to modify how the Printers List page displays printers.
- On the Printer List page, scroll to the bottom of the page.
- From the Rows per page drop-down list, select the number of rows to display on the page.
- To move to a new page, on the right-hand side of the page, do the following,
as required:
- Click > to go to the next page.
- Click < to go to the previous page.
- Click |< to go to the first page.
- Click >| to go to the last page.
View Printers with Fleet Management as a Service
Instant ID as a Service allows Managed Service Providers (MSPs) enrolled in the Fleet Management as a Service (FMaaS) entitlement bundle to view opted-in tenant/reseller printer status information. Follow the steps to opt in a tenant/reseller and view their printer status information.
- Log into Instant ID as a Service as a tenant/reseller of a parent MSP enrolled in the FMaaS entitlement bundle.
- Using a tenant/reseller, navigate to the Printer List page and select
> Opt In Fleet Management. - Log into Instant ID as a Service as an MSP enrolled in the FMaaS entitlement bundle.
- Navigate to the Printer List page and select the Tenants drop down menu to view all tenants/resellers.
- Select an opted-in tenant/reseller from the Tenants drop down menu to view their printer name, status information, and data charts related to the selected tenant/reseller. Data charts for % Ribbon Remaining, % of Retransfer film remaining (for CR805 printers), Cards Remaining Before Cleaning, and Status will be visible.
Note: For instructions on adding an MSP tenant and enrolling in the FMaaS entitlement bundle, refer to the Service Provider Online Help.
Note: Entrust-Managed IIDaaS Accounts are automatically opted in to FMaaS until a Sigma printer is onboarded with IIDaaS Ribbon with Advanced bundle.
Note: To view all tenant/reseller information, click All Tenant's printer in the Tenants drop down menu. Data charts for % Ribbon Remaining, % of Retransfer film remaining, Cards Remaining Before Cleaning, and Status will be visible. Information on the printer name and sortable card count will also appear.
Note: While viewing printer status information, the % Ribbon Remaining and Cards Remaining Before Cleaning columns and pie charts will refresh every 15 minutes.
View Printers as a Fleet Management Only Tenant
Instant ID as a Service allows MSPs and tenants with the Fleet Management Only counter enabled to manage tenant's printers (not limited to, but includes Open Card and Driver-enabled printers).
Note: Fleet Management Only Tenant counter-enabled tenants have access to the Members, Configuration, Policies, Customization, and Reports pages.
Follow the steps to enable a FMaaS Only tenant and manage tenant's printers.

Navigate to the Instant ID as a Service login page.

Log in as an MSP. The Printer Dashboard appears.

Click Main Menu
> Service Provider > Tenants. The Tenants list appears. -
Identify the desired tenant that will be enabled with the Fleet Management Only Tenant counter.

Select Entitlement
on the tenant row. The Entitlement page opens. -
Check the Enable Fleet Management Only Tenant check box under the Fleet Management Tenant area.
Note: Tenants under a FMaaS counter-enabled MSP will have the Fleet Management Only Tenant check box checked by default and automatically inherit the Fleet Management Tenant Only feature.
Note: MSPs and IIDaaS ribbon-enabled MSPs can add FMaaS enabled as an add on.

Navigate to Main Menu
> Printers with Fleet Management to view the tenant's open card and driver-enabled printer status information. -
Select the Fleet Management Only-only enabled tenant from the Tenants drop down list. A printer list will appear.
Note: Pie charts for % Ribbon Remaining, Cards Remaining Before Cleaning, and Status will be visible as well.

Select a printer from the list. The tenant Printer Dashboard opens.

View the printer information under the Summary section. Here, you will identify if the printer is open card-enabled under the printer icon
.
Filter Printers
Filter printers to change which printers the Printer List page displays.
- On the Printer List page, click
to enable
filtering. - The Filters dialog box appears.
- Select your filter options and click Apply.
- You are returned to the Printer List page. The page displays your filter results.
- To clear the filter, click
again. - On the Filters dialog box, click Reset.
