Print a Sample Credential

Print a sample of a credential design to view how the credential design will appear on a printed card. The sample credential contains place-holder data in the place of data typically gathered from the applicant.

  1. Click Print Sample Print Sample. The Print Sample dialog box opens.
  2. From the Select sides to print list, select a side of the card to print. Options include Both sides, Front, or Back.
  3. From the Printer list, select a printer.
  4. From the Hopper list, select a hopper on the printer that contains card stock for the credential.
    Note: If the Exception Slot hopper option is chosen, an Insert Card. Press button message displays on your printer's LCD screen. You can enter your own printer LCD screen messages in the Exception Slot Message field to instruct operators on which card stock type to use. Custom messages for the exception slots allow a maximum 45 character limit for Sigma printers, and a 32 character limit for SD, CD, and Artista printers. Characters exceeding these limits will not display.
  5. Click Print. The selected printer prints a sample credential with placeholder information and graphics.
