Map Mobile Flash Pass Fields

Instant ID as a Service allows for mapping fields between credential designs, enrollment designs, and Mobile Flash Passes.

Map Fields from Credential Design to Mobile Flash Pass

To add information gathered during enrollment to a Mobile Flash Pass, map fields on the Credential Design to fields on the Mobile Flash Pass. After enrolling the applicant, Instant ID as a Service adds the information from the enrollment form to the Mobile Flash Pass.

  1. From the Main Menu Main Menu, select Credential Design. The Credential Designs page opens.
  2. Click Add Add to generate a new Credential Design. The Select a Credential Design page opens.
  3. Select a Credential Design. The Credential Designer page opens.
  4. Create a Credential Design. For more instructions, refer to Design a Credential.

    Note: The credential design must have a single field containing the full name of the applicant. This allows the full name of the applicant to map to a field on the Mobile Flash Pass.

  5. Click Save .
  6. From the Enrollment Field Connections page, select the Mobile Flash Pass design you created.
  7. From the Member Name list, select a field on the Credential Design that contains the applicant's full name.
  8. From the Email Address list, select a field on the Credential Design that contains the applicant's email address.
    • To select an email address on the credential design, select that field from the Email Address list.
    • To create a new field for the email address, select <Auto Generate Field>.
  9. Map other fields to the Mobile Flash Pass.
    1. Member ID : Select the field that contains the member ID.
    2. User Photo : Select the field that contains the applicant’s photo.

      Note: Google Wallet does not allow user photos; therefore, the photo will not appear on the pass as of today.

    3. Role : Select the field that contains the applicant's role.
    4. Expiry : Select a field that contains the expiry date.
    5. Email Address: Select the field that contains the applicant’s email address.
    6. Barcode Value : Select the field that contains data to be converted to a barcode.
    7. Since : Select the field that contains the date when the applicant was added.
    8. Member Name :Select the field that contains the applicant’s full name.
  10. Click Save.
Note: Apple Wallet Limitation- If a strip image is configured for the Mobile Flash Pass, the User Photo field will not display on the Apple Wallet pass.

Map Fields from Mobile Flash Pass to Enrollment Design

To add fields from a Mobile Flash Pass to an enrollment design, map fields on the Mobile Flash Pass to fields on the Enrollment Design. After enrolling the applicant, Instant ID as a Service adds the information from the Mobile Flash Pass to the enrollment form.

  1. From the Main Menu Main Menu, select Enrollment Designs. The Enrollment Designs page opens.
  2. Select an enrollment design. The Enrollment Designer page opens.
  3. Click to expand the designer panel.
  4. Click Enrollment Design to expand the dropdown menu.
  5. Click Mobile Flash Pass from the menu to add a Mobile Flash Pass to the enrollment design.
  6. Click Save .
  7. Return to Enrollment Designs.
  8. Click Field Connections to the right of the Enrollment Design to which you would like to map fields.
  9. Select the Source design from which the fields will be mapped.
  10. Choose the fields you would like to connect from the selected source to the Enrollment Design.
  11. Click Save in the lower-right corner of the Field Connections page.
