Print From an Enrollment Search

The Search Enrollment page includes options to print a credential. Print a new credential for an applicant if they require a new credential for any reason.

Print a Credential

Follow these steps to print individual credentials.

  1. Select Main Menu Main Menu > Credentials. The Credentials page opens.
  2. Click Search Search in the area for a credential. The Search Enrollment page opens and lists all of the enrollments for the credential.
  3. (Optional) Filter the enrollment list using search terms. For more information, refer to Search Enrollments.
  4. Click Print Print Credential in a row for a credential. The Printers dialog box opens.
  5. Select a printer from the Printers list.
  6. Select a hopper from the Hoppers list."
    Note: If the Exception Slot hopper option is chosen, an Insert Card. Press button message displays on your printer's LCD screen. You can enter your own printer LCD screen messages in the Exception Slot Message field to instruct operators on which card stock type to use. Custom messages for the exception slots allow a maximum 45 character limit for Sigma printers, and a 32 character limit for SD, CD, and Artista printers. Characters exceeding these limits will not display.
  7. Click Print. Instant ID as a Service prints the credential.

Note: A pre-print webhook is triggered if users want to manipulate and update the data in their own system before the printing process begins. If a pre-print webhook is associated with the enrollment design, printing will not begin until the pre-print operation by the customer is completed and print job is resumed using the Resume Print API.

Print Multiple Credentials

Follow these steps to print multiple credentials.

  1. Select Main Menu Main Menu > Credentials. The Credentials page opens.
  2. Click Search Search in the area for a credential. The Search Enrollment page opens and lists all of the enrollments for the credential.
  3. (Optional) Filter the enrollment list using search terms. For more information, refer to Search Enrollments.
  4. Select the check box next to the credentials to print.
  5. Click Print Print Credential at the top of the table. The Printers dialog box opens.
  6. Select a printer from the Printers list.
  7. Select a hopper from the Hoppers list.

Print a Batch of Credentials

Follow these steps to print a batch of credentials.

  1. Select Main Menu Main Menu > Credentials. The Credentials page opens.
  2. Click SearchSearch in the area for a credential. The Search Enrollment page opens and lists all of the enrollments for the credential.
  3. Click the check box next to the Name column. All the credentials are highlighted.
  4. Click Select All.
  5. Click Print Print Credential at the top of the table. The Printers dialog box opens.
  6. Select a printer from the Printers list.
  7. Select a hopper from the Hoppers list.
    Note: If the Exception Slot hopper option is chosen, an Insert Card. Press button message displays on your printer's LCD screen. You can enter your own printer LCD screen messages in the Exception Slot Message field to instruct operators on which card stock type to use. Custom messages for the exception slots allow a maximum 45 character limit for Sigma printers, and a 32 character limit for SD, CD, and Artista printers.   8. Click Print. Instant ID as a Service batch prints the credentials.

Note: Clicking Select All > Print initiates batch printing, distinct from the multilevel and print-per-page processes, preventing wait time for separate print job submissions.

Note: Multiple batch prints cannot be initiated at the same time.

Note: Instant ID as a Service allows batch printing credentials connected to both cloud and external databases.

Note: If a pre-print webhook is associated with the enrollment design, printing will not begin until the pre-print operation by the customer is completed and print job is resumed using the Resume Print API.
